Dr Evelyn Tay is an accomplished dermatologist of more than 12 years’ experience. She has wide-ranging expertise in all aspects of general (including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea), paediatric, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Her sub-specialty interests are in Dermatologic and Nail Surgery, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Lasers and Aesthetic Dermatology. Dr Tay believes in providing honest, effective and evidence-based treatments that are customised to the individual.
She performed over 600 cases of MOHS advanced procedures and treatments During Dr Tay’s fellowship, she trained under the tutelage of world-renowned dermatologic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists and deepened her skills and expertise in advanced procedures and treatments, including more than 600 cases of Mohs micrographic surgery, nail surgery, lasers, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.
Prior to private practice, Dr Tay was a consultant dermatologist, dermatological and laser surgeon at the Department of Dermatology, Changi General Hospital. Dr Tay excels in her field with her strong work ethics and patient care and has received recognition with her being awarded the Singhealth Service Excellence Awards as a consultant as well as Service Quality Awards for being the Best Houseman in Medicine.
Dr Tay has been widely published in international journals and is a regular reviewer for many scientific journals. She was also a clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr Tay continues to contribute to the field of dermatology with innovative ideas and has been awarded research grants to advance knowledge in the field of skin ageing and holds a patent for a novel skin biopsy device.
Outside of work, Dr Tay enjoys looking at art pieces and can often be found running after her three young children at home, experiencing the world again through their eyes.
Dr Ang Sue-May is a British trained Consultant Dermatologist who is registered as a skin specialist both in Singapore and the United Kingdom. She has a special focus on acne & scars, skin cancer and dermatological surgery.
Dr Ang Sue May graduated from Kings College School of Medicine London and attained her postgraduate degree in internal medicine in the United Kingdom. She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London) in 2011. She completed rigorous and highly competitive dermatology higher specialist training at leading centres in London, including the prestigious Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trusts (Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals) and University College Hospitals London (UCLH) NHS Trust. She has more than 17 years of medical experience.
Dr Ang underwent extensive training under the mentorship of Professor Tony Chu in Hammersmith Hospital London sub-specialising in acne and acne scarring. Dr Ang has established herself as a leading authority in acne. She facilitated a busy quaternary referral service for acne in Hammersmith Hospital NHS Imperial Healthcare Trust and has developed a large cohort of patients within the UK, Europe and Asia. She has performed more than 1000 procedural acne scar revisions and is one of the few UK dermatologists trained in complex procedures in microneedling, TCA cross and subcision. Based on her vast global experience and diverse patient selection, she is competent in treating all skin types including skin of colour.
Upon being awarded with a Certificate of Completion of Training in Dermatology, Dr Ang was appointed as a substantive Consultant Dermatology in the NHS at London North West University Hospitals NHS Trust. She was the sub-clinical lead in Ealing Hospital and spearheaded the daylight Photodynamic Therapy as an extension of skin cancer services.
Besides NHS work, Dr Ang practised privately at the renowned Harley Street. She is adept in cosmetic dermatology and has extensive experience in dermal fillers, anti-ageing injectables, laser treatment for skin disorders and chemical peel. She was appointed a panel member of a specialist team at The Mole Clinic London, Harley Street offering skin cancer detection, mole mapping screening and dermatosurgery services.
On her return to Singapore in 2020, Dr Ang served as a Specialist Consultant in National Skin Centre where she was part of the acne, skin cancer and dermsurgery team. She was awarded NSC Service Champion Award (Silver) in 2021 and Service Champion (Gold) in 2022 respectively in recognition of her exemplary contribution and commitment to excellent service. She was an invited keynote speaker at the NSC Update Symposium 2021 on the topic of skin cancers and NSC Public Webinar forum 2022 on acne in Singapore.
Dr Ang is highly dedicated to her work and has been rewarded with many awards for her outstanding academic excellence. She has also been awarded a number of grants as principal investigator. She had been actively involved in a broad spectrum of clinical research including UK portfolio studies on acne , skin cancers and the safety of biologic in psoriasis patients. She is often an invited speaker and moderator at local, regional and international Dermatological scientific meetings, workshops and webinars. She has presented her work internationally at the Royal Society of Medicine London, St Johns Institute of Dermatology meetings and British Association Dermatology scientific meetings in the UK, as well as the European Academy Dermatology and Venereology and American Academy Dermatology conferences. She has been featured in media where she provides her standpoint on various skin health topics in skincare.
Dr Ang is also an avid educator. She was appointed as a faculty physician in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and medical education at Imperial College School of Medicine London. Dr Ang was also on the board of examiners for OSCE and MRCP (PACES) exams of University of London medical schools and postgraduate doctors in the UK. She continues to participate actively in the teaching of medical students in Singapore and is an affiliated faculty tutor to Lee King Chian School of Medicine and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
She attained fellowship with the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and is also a member of other renowned organisations in the field. These include Dermatological Society of Singapore, British Association Dermatology, international fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery and Collegiate Member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
Based at Shine Dermatology, Dr Ang consults patients with a vast range of medical and cosmetic conditions including, but not limited to acne and acne scarring, rosacea, moles and aesthetic concerns.
She is able to converse fluently in English, Bahasa and Mandarin.

Dr Stephanie Ho is a British trained Consultant Dermatologist who is registered as a skin specialist both in Singapore and the United Kingdom. She has over 20 years of medical experience, and has practised in Edinburgh, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. Her areas of interest include skin cancer screening, surgical removal of skin lesions, use of lasers for aesthetic rejuvenation, and looking after the skin of children and adolescents. She strives to provide expert dermatology care for the whole family using safe and effective treatments backed up by medical evidence and honed from years of experience
Dr Ho graduated with a medical degree from the University of Edinburgh and attained her postgraduate degree in internal medicine in the United Kingdom. She completed rigorous and highly competitive dermatology specialist training at leading centres in London, including the prestigious St John's Institute of Dermatology, Chelsea and Westminster, and Barts and The London NHS Trusts. She went on to practise dermatology as well as undertake extensive research at The University of Hong Kong in the use of lasers and lights, publishing numerous articles in international peer reviewed journals as well as Dermatology book chapters. She then moved back to Singapore and was a Consultant Dermatological Surgeon at the National Skin Centre in Singapore with special interests in surgery and lasers before setting up her own private practice - Stephanie Ho Dermatology.
Active in research and education, Dr Ho has published over 20 publications in journals and book chapters, and is an invited reviewer for several international dermatology journals. In addition, she presents regularly at local, regional and international conferences as well as public forums. She has also been actively involved in the teaching of medical students and other fellow doctors throughout her career.
Her international experience has provided exposure to a great diversity of people and skin conditions, and she is equally comfortable treating adults and children of all skin types. She is warm, engaging, and passionate about providing specialist advice that is honest, effective and safe.
